Great Breakfast place. I have to admit, I forgot exactly if I got a Denver Omelet or some other similar one but enjoyed it.

Best breakfast in town even if that's ice cream ! These ladies enjoyed some banana splits at 8am when it was already 90* out and some gentleman had some cfs and steak breakfast featuring the best chef in town Felipe, adding love into all his food it's always fast and perfect!

I always wonder who gets the green lettuce. Well today it was me! First time at Mel's and had the best hamburger with crisp green lettuce. onion rings were crunchy and well seasoned, didn't need to add anything. Service by Dennis friendly, making it an enjoyable quick lunch

Came for breakfast on a Sunday around 9am. I love the ambiance of Mel's with the 60's American diner decor and up beat atmosphere. They have a nice menu selection, including a great kids menu. I ordered the hangover which consisted of biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. The eggs were cooked over easy and hot on arrival. The gravy was very basic with a mild flavor. The biscuits were a bit on the tough side and soaked up most of the gravy due to density. I don't think I would order this again, however I would return to try the French toast which my friend ordered and looked delicious. Service was good and I love how clean the restaurant is. Lots of easy parking and prices are good.

Had some time between an appt and reporting for work this morning so decided to hang at Mel's. The server was incredibly friendly! Was the food the best ever? No, but it was hot and came quickly. It was pretty much as expected. The restaurant is clean and had a steady flow of visitors. Lots of LE folks stopped by to pick up food and use the facilities. They all seemed to know the server, so I think they are regular. That's was kind of nice actually.

The service is great. The lady who takes care of us always goes above and beyond, every time we go in there. And she remembers us. The food is flavorful and worth every penny. The decor is exactly what one would expect in a diner styled from the 50s. It is a perfect mix of American Graffiti and 50s teen fun Oh by the way, please stop tipping the servers like it's the 50s. They work hard to make sure your meal is enjoyable for you. $4 tip on a $200 meal is unacceptable.
